Well this little podcast journey is coming to an end for now.  I appreciate all of you who listened regularly.  As I explain in the episode, life moves pretty fast, and before you know it, you haven’t done the one thing you needed to do.  I will be concentrating on that.  But enjoy this last episode about Hawaii, Elvis, and more.

Here is the Blue Hawaii drink recipe:

1 oz Vodka,

1 oz Light Rum

1 oz Sweet & Sour

1/2oz blue curacao,

3 oz pineapple,

simple syrup to taste

Put in shaker and shake.  Pour over ice.  Can also be blended.

When it’s time to sell your book these days invoking Donald Trump’s name is the best way.  Omarosa’s new “tell-all” book Unhinged is the next one out to profit from this new “marketing.”  In this episode, I delve into her convoluted explanations of the tapes and more.  Plus talk parenting in 2018.  Just having a baby doesn’t make you a parent.  And I review a whiskey inspired by Omarosa…Black Bush from Bushmills.

Apparently we all get a little too tipsy and get the urge to see what’s new at Amazon.  Who spends the most online while drunk?  Whiskey drinkers?  Gin?   And we explore why I seem to get every person in the world making unsolicited comments to him or questions.  Happened to you?   Plus how Napster changed the music industry 17 years ago today.  I also review Strand Brewing’s Orange Wheat beer.

Where has common sense gone?  I have been asking that question for a long time, thus the reason for the podcast. But I am not alone, comedian Lou Santini addresses that very question and more in his latest book, “Amateur Nation: The decline of Common Sense, Manners & Social Skills.”   We discuss his very funny and poignant book and we do it all while indulging in some Jim Beam Double Oak.
